The officially supported release is 16.04 at the moment.
Download and run installation script:
Make sure that script can be executed
chmod +x install.sh
You might be asked for root password
If any dependencies needs to be installed, you will be asked if you want to install them. We strongly recommend to agree.
When the script terminates, the program, along with dependencies, will be installed. All you need to do is to restart your PC.
$ sudo usermod -aG docker $USERWarning: The docker group grants privileges equivalent to the root user. For details on how this impacts security in your system, look up: Docker Daemon Attack Surface.
Install nvidia-docker2 package in version 2.0.3+docker17.12.1-1 since it doesn't require docker-ce || docker-ee and relies on the docker.io package which is present in Ubuntu repository.
Run Golem normally and it will build the required docker images if the prerequisites have been satisfied.
