Use Cases

We aim to provide a sustainable, long-term solution for communities - including families, public organizations, universities, and companies to store and exchange data, communicate, and collaborate, while avoiding reliance on third-party cloud providers. Clan serves both small groups, like families needing a secure way to archive documents, videos, and photos, and larger organizations seeking to connect and manage multiple computers and servers

Impact

Today, we rely heavily on cloud services. Instead of purchasing and fully owning software and hardware, we increasingly pay for subscriptions or use free services in exchange for our data and exposure to advertising. This shift has led to a loss of control and greater vulnerability to corporate interests. Our goal is to develop a solution that empowers individuals to return to personal computing, regaining control over their infrastructure, software, and devices.
